JAYNE WITH A WHY

My life has endured some drastic changes over the past 5yrs. I've moved continents, moved countries, lost my partner in life, lost my dogs, lost the bikes & no doubt about it, lost more than a few marbles along the way. I'm fucked up but valiantly fighting off sanity, which snaps at my heels at regular intervals. I swear a lot. Tell someone who cares.

ANOTHER GOODBYE

It's almost 3am. We've just come back from taking Spadge & Chikkin to the airport & as I type, they should be taking off for Dublin. My eyes are heavy from mental & physical exhaustion. This past week has been so draining, but I know it would have been ten times worse if we didn't have Spadge & Chikkin here with us.

This precious baby girl has brought us so many smiles, a whole heap of love & the softest, sloppiest of kisses. She's spent a whole week without her mummy bless her, but she'll soon be telling her all about grandgrads motorbike & the fishes :-) We can't thank Shanna enough for parting with her baby for a whole week & we're both extremely sorry that the urgency of the situation made it practically impossible for her to be here with us.

The tornado sleeps!

Our son & granddaughter left Abu Dhabi today, but their goodbyes are only temporary.

Grandma was cremated today. It was our final goodbye. Life carries on & we all have a personal library of memories from such a special lady.

I don't know if you'll get to read this son, but I just want to tell you again, how very proud we are of you. Thank you for being here, for bringing Lilly & for sharing your heart today, even though it must have been breaking with the love you had for you grandma. We will mourn her my babe, but like you, we will celebrate her life, as she really was worth celebrating.
